Man declared mentally unstable for “not being interested in football”
LOS ANGELES, CA – James Madison, 42, was declared mentally unstable this afternoon after he made the following statement in front of friends and family during an afternoon lunch at Maloney’s Sports Bar and Grill; “I don’t really follow sports, so I’m not that interested in football this weekend”. Madison was immediately airlifted to the UCLA Medical Center and declared mentally unstable shortly after arrival by staff. Doctors are still not yet sure if Madison will be able to make a full recovery. Sports FTW reporters spoke to head mental health psychiatrist at UCLA, Rajeed Mastaru, to try and understand the difficulty of the diagnosis and what hope Madison has left to reincorporate to society; “At this point it’s difficult to determine whether or not Mr. Madison will be able to fully assimilate back into society.” Madison’s family and friends held a vigil outside the hospital, singing the United States national anthem and various church hymns. “It’s really difficult to imagine what Mr. Madison is going through, a man that doesn’t find interest in football, well, that’s near the equivalent of being brain dead, unfortunately” – Rajeed Mastaru, Head Psychiatrist of Mental Health and Illness, UCLA Medical Center.
